it's not my underarms that need freshening up; it's my familiarity with these...
Web Technologies I need to cozy up with:
- .Net
- SOAP
- XML
- AJAX
- DOM, yes the dom. (dom da dom dom DaaaaaaOM)
Platforms, Projects, Concepts I need to fool around with more often:
- the Wikis, not to be confused with the Wookies, young master.
- Movable Type
- Proto/ mash-ups
- there's another somewhere - oh write, that storytelling scripting language
Companies I need to get familiar with:
- Coghead
- outside.in
- ThinkMap
- hmmm...one that will hire me, perhaps.
I'm feeling a bit swamped
...and my battery's running out.
i'm going to pull a classic avoidance move here and not work on any of these. instead i'm going to return to the Hadley story and get her out of that post-party breakfast she's currently in the midst of.
I'm not sure i care so much about my skin looking phenomenally better than it does right now. I think it looks alright, but the promise of smoother, silkier skin, now that's hard to resist. I've thought about it for a few months, and i want the skin on my face to feel just as lovely as the skin on my belly which is already wonderfully soft. i remember when i first started shaving, the feel of the sheet against my skin at night felt so good, i shaved my forearms the very next day (not such a smart thing, no...). my point, i guess, is that i justify the expense and the preoccupation with a 'beauty product' because it's only for my enjoyment. yeah.
i care about the bunnies. i really do, but shaving is just so much easier and faster than waxing or using one of those depillators. finally, i can shave with out visions of those horrific bleeding bunnies popping into my head.
it brushes my teeth for me. and has some 'cross action' enhancement too! i thought maybe the rotating brush could smooth out the surface of my fillings faster than my normal toothbrush. the way they are, my tongue always thinks there's still food in my teeth and tries to get it out.
